The Chinese invented the ancient Chinese characters derived from pictures or combination of pictures. These two characters represent just a few of the many Chinese characters which depict stories from the Bible.
Below is an example of how the characters, put together, illustrate and prophesied the cruxifiction of Jesus and the Word of God...
The first character is made up of four other characters. It begins with a picture of a cross.
The next character is for a great man. A great man placed on the cross.
The next two characters are similar to the one above, but smaller. These represent two lesser men.
The four characters together form the Chinese character for the word "Lai", which means COME.
The second character is made up of three other characters. It begins with a picture of a great man.
The next character is for a mouth.
The next character represents words.
The three characters together form the Chinese character for the word "Xin", which means BELIEVE.
Together these two characters were, and are saying, not only to the Chinese culture, but to you and I as well, that we are all called to come to the cross; receive the gift of eternal life Jesus gave us by dying on the cross for our sins and believe the words of Jesus when he said, "I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
My prayer is that YOU who came to visit this site (which is no coincidence) are moved by the Holy Spirit to accept the gift of eternal life so that when you leave this site, you will be able to say, "I came and I believe. Thank you, Jesus!"
As the characters begin to form below, hear the words, "Come and Believe". It is not I or the website calling you, but God himself who gave his only Son, Jesus, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn YOU, but in order that YOU might be saved through him.
